The Nikwax Nubuck Proofing has been engineered to waterproof nubuck and suede pieces of footwear allowing you to get the best performance from your hiking boots. Applied by sponging the product on, this product will help revive the performance of more worn pieces of footwear once it has been cleaned using the Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel. When used, it leaves a water repellent finish of individual fibres, meaning your shoes are still able to maintain breathability, allowing you to wear them on long journeys without dampness caused by sweat build-up slowing you down.
